Ya de yada

Thanks to everyone who logged on/turned up for the Bongo gig. Great time and some great performances by our fellow stage occupants, I’m sure you’ll agree. Apologies (sort of) that we were bumped up the bill so we went on just before Amplifico stormed the stage, as opposed to first as we had been told previously.

This week sees us travel to the Clachaig in Glencoe (Friday 28th July) for our first gig there and we’re looking forward to a great night. Thereafter we only have a short break before playing the opening headline at this year’s Acoustic Edinburgh festival programme (Tuesday 1st August). If the last two years have been anything to go by then it should a great evening. We may well wheel out one or two of the new tracks that we’ve introduced to the set recently to see how the acoustic treatment suits them. Saturday 5th will see us round off a busy week by a late nighter in the Jazz Bar, Chambers Street, Edinburgh.

In the wider world, Jazz Breakfast has been played again on the Daily Source Code so thanks to Adam Curry for that. We had big hits from the States after that happened last time so if this is the first time you’ve joined us then welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy the freebies and feel inspired to spread the word… and buy the EP.

A few people have been asking about the follow up EP to Mentum.. so I should report that it’s still coming along, but it looks like the launch date will be towards the end of the year now, after time pressure got to all of us in the last few months.

Enjoy the sun, unless you’re on the underside of the planet, in which case try to keep your hands warm enough to hang on to something so you don’t fall off before the sun comes back…
